Mother's Day

This year, I decided to have a relaxing time with my kids. After a busy morning of games, helping friends move, and farmer's market, we went to the river at Camelot and had a very fun afternoon playing in the sun, fishing (M caught a rock. - It even ate her worm. It was totally classic!!), sandcastles, exploring the beach with Trooper and Queenie, and a yummy picnic. Afterwards, we cleaned up and saw StarTrek. (Which was AWESOME!!! They did a great job of mixing the tv show, and all the other movies.) All in all, a good day with my kids.

C playing a little stick ball at the beach.
He got pretty good at hitting those rocks (even the little ones).

M and our new River Dog - Trooper the Chihuahua playing in the water.

B & C making sandcastles.

C drowning some worms.

M catching those elusive rocks.
Either the rock ate the worm and then got tangled up in the line,
or the worm escaped and tied up the nearest rock as part of his escape.
You pick....
