Puppies & Kitties - Oh My!!!

So I've been feeling kinda crummy since last Tuesday and have steadily gotten worse. I have a fever, am dizzy alot, the world spins, my ears hurt, can'y concentrate, fel like I'm on a movin ship, and have a lot of pressure in my sinuses. So today after work, I went in to the Doctor's office because I know it'll only get worse. (I don't have time to be sick. Christmas shipping is only a week and a half away and we're shortstaffed in our office again this week.)
The official medical verdict after waiting for 2 hours: I have a double ear infection, sinus infection and possible start of an upper respiratory infection. In addition to having a prescription for massive doses of antibiotics, the doctor offered me vicodene for pain relief. VICODENE???? Dang!!! That must be some serious puppies, kitties, rhinos and/or elephants in my ears. (My uncle used to be an E.N.T. Dr and the big thing was always to find out what he would find in our ears after a sharp surprised intake of breath. I usually had puppies or elephants in mine. Today I think the whole zoo is hanging in there.) Rest assured I told the doc "no" - of course and said I would stick with my ibuprofen for my ear ache.)
Well, off to try and get some stuff done today so that I can go to bed. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll feel up to posting some pics.
