I got my flu shot yesterday. The county had their employee health fair and this year Kaiser Permanente offered to give flu shots to employees. I think I timed it really well since we don't have anything going on this weekend (miracle I know) and I can sleep and recoup if need to. Usually, the kids and I get them the day after Halloween (or the wednesday / thursday after) so we have the weekend to recover. But this week the timing hasn't worked out yet - Will have to do it next week when they're not sick.

I'm a big believer in flu shots. We get them every year. The one year we didn't get them, was the year that we got the flu and I can honestly see how people die from it. It was pretty scary actually. So after that experience I make it a priority to get one. (I'm exposed to so much crud where I work. Felons in general - and especially tweakers - don't generally take very good care of themselves and definitely aren't big on personal hygiene.) In the winter, you'd think half the docket were related to typhoid Mary and we always have someone who has an active case of MERSA (drug resistant staph infection). YUCK!!!
